Some of the cosmetics procedures available at the Dr. Veit Dentistry Clinic are teeth whitening, porcelain laminated facets, etc.
There are two available procedures to enhance the beauty of the smile: the resin (which are tooth-colored substances used for covering tooth stains, repair fractures or to fill in cavities) and teeth whitening. Porcelain facet is also an option.
These are restorations that involve only the frontal side of the teeth. This restoration can only be done with resin or porcelain, usually in a lab and afterwards applied on the teeth. It is recommended for: darken teeth, excessively restored teeth and on cases in which correction is necessary anatomic mal-formation.
They are made of a special kind of resin; photo activated, and they have the same appearance of a natural tooth. This material is mainly used in restorations of frontal tooth in which there are cavities, fractures, stains, large spaces between the teeth, and scraggly teeth.

Teeth might get darker due to different reasons:
- - Age (teeth get darker as time goes by)
- - Artificially colored food (soft drinks, tea, coffee, etc)
- - Smoking
- - Individual genetic formation
- - Antibiotics (when the children are forming the teeth)
- - Root canal treatment
The whitening may be done at the dentist’s office in just 1 hour.
